Jennifer Burrell

MS, NCC, LPC/LMFT Intern

With a Masters (M.S.) degree with honors in Marriage, Couples and Family Counseling, Jennifer specializes in facilitating healthy relationships amongcouples, families and individuals in the Portland, Oregon area.

She believes all people have the inherent ability to heal and thrive as they sit in wholeness and create a meaningful life for themselves. Being in close and conscious relationship with others can be a profound vehicle for this process.

Jennifer sees therapy as a practice of assisted self-discovery where clients can move towards deeper levels of awareness and change. Using an integrative approach to counseling, she workswith clients to recognize the interconnectedness of body, mind, and spirit and the areas in which they may find themselves experiencing limitations.

Jennifer graduated with honors with a Masters (M.S.) degree from Portland State University. This graduate program is accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Counseling and Related Education Programs (CACREP). She completed her Bachelor of Arts degree summa cum laude in Psychology at Portland State University, (Portland, Oregon) in 2008 and is a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) through the National Board of Certified Counselors.

Helping people live a happier, more fulfilled life has always been a central focus of Jennifer’s work, no matter what she did. She is passionate about helping her client’s create happy, meaningful lives and is well equipped to do so with the added experience of working as a successful certified life coach, childbirth educator and birth doula for many years previously.
